Sig Sauer P229 Elite 9mm Optics-Ready Pistol

Sig Sauer P229 Elite: Refined Carry Pistol

The P229 Elite represents a thoughtful evolution of one of the most respected compact pistols in service worldwide. This is a firearm built on proven fundamentals, refined through decades of professional and civilian use.

Core Features

Action & Trigger System The P229 Elite employs Sig Sauer's Short Reset Trigger (SRT) mechanism within a traditional double-action/single-action platform. This gives you the safety benefits of DA/SA operation—hammer down, chamber loaded—with a notably shorter trigger reset for faster follow-up shots. The result is surgical control during rapid fire without sacrificing the inherent safety of a traditional DA/SA design.

Ergonomics & Handling

• One-piece E2 grip with ambidextrous controls
• Beavertail frame for high hand positioning and reduced muzzle flip
• Front strap checking for positive indexing and control
• 3.9" barrel optimizes the balance between sight radius and concealability

Sights & Optics Siglite night sights come standard, providing low-light capability without batteries. The optics-ready slide accepts common reflex sight footprints, allowing you to mount your preferred red dot or holographic sight for modern defensive use.

Capacity & Reliability 10+1 round capacity in 9mm Luger. Two magazines included.

The P229 Advantage

This is a compact pistol that doesn't compromise. It handles like a full-size firearm, carries like a compact, and has proven itself in the hands of military and law enforcement professionals worldwide. The Elite variant adds refinements that matter: better ergonomics, a superior trigger system, and optics-ready capability for shooters who want modern accessories on a classic platform.

Whether you're building a defensive carry system or seeking a reliable range companion, the P229 Elite delivers.
