Faxon EXOS-524 Compensator
The EXOS-524 is a purpose-built compensator for the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield and Shield Plus, engineered to improve shooting consistency and control.
Design and Function
Faxon's uniquely angled front-port, single-chamber design works by directing gas upward rather than solely sideways. This approach effectively reduces both muzzle climb and vertical movement, allowing shooters to maintain better sight picture and faster follow-up shots. The result is improved reliability and measurably reduced recoil impulse.

Installation Notes
The compensator is optimized for Faxon-branded barrels. For other barrel brands, ensure barrel protrusion does not exceed 0.600 inches for proper flush fit with the slide.
