The HK Advantage in Pistol Form
The Heckler & Koch MR556 A4 represents the pinnacle of modern pistol-caliber rifle engineering, bringing the proven short-stroke gas piston system of the legendary HK416 to the commercial market in a compact, highly controllable package.
Superior Operating System
Unlike traditional direct-impingement designs, the MR556 A4's short-stroke gas piston system keeps hot carbon fouling out of the action. This means:
- Longer service life between cleanings
- Reduced maintenance requirements
- Less wear on internal components
- Adjustable gas regulator for tuning to suppressed or unsuppressed operation
Ergonomic Design
The A4 platform delivers genuine ambidextrous controls throughout, making it equally comfortable for left and right-handed shooters. The slimmer profile and lighter weight (6.61 lbs) make this pistol easier to manipulate and employ in dynamic shooting situations.
