Design and Construction
Savage partnered with Hogue to create a rifle that performs in demanding conditions. The barreled action features a Tungsten Cerakote ceramic coating—a hard, protective finish that resists corrosion and weathering. The 16.5" barrel is button-rifled and fluted to reduce weight without sacrificing accuracy or rigidity.
Stock and Ergonomics
The Hogue overmolded synthetic stock provides a secure grip in wet or cold conditions. Full-coverage rubber overmolding ensures consistent handling regardless of weather. The stock is finished in black and sized for a full-length fit. Two sling swivel studs are pre-installed for attachment of your preferred carry system.
