Design and Functionality

Blade Design The full-length skinner blade is purpose-built for field dressing game and handling everyday cutting tasks. The curved profile of the blade works naturally with your hand, making repetitive cutting motions efficient and controlled. This is a genuine working knife, not a display piece.

Handle and Grip The smooth yellow synthetic handle provides excellent visibility in the field while maintaining a secure, comfortable grip. The curved handle design fits naturally in your hand and reduces fatigue during extended use.

Construction and Materials

This knife is built from Chrome Vanadium steel—a time-tested material that offers excellent edge retention and ease of sharpening. While Chrome Vanadium requires slightly more maintenance than stainless steel, it rewards careful stewardship with superior performance and longevity.

Care and Maintenance

To preserve your Sod Buster for decades of use, maintain a light coat of oil on the blade. This simple practice prevents rust and discoloration while keeping the steel in peak working condition. Proper maintenance ensures this knife will serve you and future generations well.
