The Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon I: A Crossover Classic
The Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon I has earned its reputation as the standard-bearer in the over/under crossover shotgun category. Whether you're transitioning from semi-autos or seeking a refined clay target platform, this shotgun delivers the precision and reliability that serious shooters demand.
Design and Handling
Beretta's innovative opening lever mechanism makes the 686 noticeably easier to operate than conventional designs. The improved receiver balance contributes to a natural, responsive feel in the hands. The polished stainless-steel trigger provides a clean, predictable break—essential for consistent shooting.
Aesthetics and Craftsmanship
The receiver showcases floral engraving that flows seamlessly across all metal surfaces. Intricate detailing on the hinge pins demonstrates Beretta's commitment to functional beauty. The European Walnut stock, finished to a rich luster, complements the blued barrels and silver receiver.
