Leupold Backcountry Cross 1-Piece Base Weatherby 307 SA

Leupold Backcountry Cross 1-Piece Scope Base

This precision-engineered scope base represents the modern approach to rifle mounting—a single, rigid platform that eliminates the variables inherent in two-piece designs.

Key Features

• 1-piece construction for maximum rigidity and repeatability
• 20 MOA elevation compensation built into the base, enabling longer-range shooting without excessive turret adjustment
• Weatherby 307 short action compatibility with proper dovetail fit
• Cross-slot design for secure ring mounting
• Leupold quality backed by American manufacturing standards

Why This Matters

A quality scope base is the foundation of an accurate rifle. The 20 MOA inclination allows shooters to zero at 100 yards while maintaining full turret adjustment range for extended distances—critical for hunters and precision shooters working beyond typical hunting ranges.

The single-piece design eliminates the alignment concerns that can arise when separate bases shift or settle. For a rifle as capable as the Weatherby 307, this base ensures your scope mounting won't be the weak link in your system.
