Browning X-Bolt Mountain Pro SPR 6.8 Western

Browning X-Bolt Mountain Pro SPR: Purpose-Built for Mountain Hunting

The X-Bolt Mountain Pro SPR represents Browning's commitment to delivering a rifle that performs where it matters most—in challenging terrain at elevation. This is a purpose-built tool for hunters who demand precision, reliability, and minimal weight.

Stock and Ergonomics

The carbon fiber stock is engineered for both strength and weight savings. The height-adjustable comb offers a full 1" range of adjustment in precise 1/8" increments, allowing you to dial in the perfect cheek weld for your shooting position and optic setup. Length-of-pull spacers (1/2", 1/4", and 1/8") ensure the rifle fits your frame properly. The Inflex recoil pad manages recoil effectively while maintaining a secure grip.

Barrel and Action

The stainless steel barrel features spiral fluting—a design that reduces weight without sacrificing rigidity. The action is bedded into a compression-molded carbon fiber bedding block that ensures the barrel floats freely, a critical factor for consistent accuracy. The Cerakote Smoked Bronze finish on the barrel, bolt, bolt handle, and bottom metal provides excellent corrosion resistance and a professional appearance.

Trigger and Muzzle Management

The 3-lever trigger delivers a clean, predictable break. The Recoil Hawg muzzle brake, finished in matching Smoked Bronze, effectively manages recoil while keeping the rifle controllable in rapid-fire situations.

Mounting and Accessories

The integrated Picatinny rail accepts standard scope bases and tactical accessories. The X-Lock Scope Mounting System uses four screws per base for maximum stability—your optic won't shift. Flush-fit QD sling swivel cups allow quick attachment of your preferred carry system without adding bulk.

The Bottom Line

This is a rifle built for hunters who understand that every ounce matters and every shot counts. The X-Bolt Mountain Pro SPR delivers the accuracy and reliability you need in the field.
