This is a purpose-built tool that merges two proven designs into one capable package. The Latin D-Guard represents Cold Steel's hybrid approach to machete design—pairing the aggressive cutting geometry of a traditional Latin machete with the hand protection of a D-ring guard.

Handle and Safety
