Safariland 6390RDS Red Dot Optics Holster
The 6390RDS represents a purposeful solution for shooters who have invested in red dot sights mounted to their Glock 47. This is not a compromise design—it is purpose-built for modern optics.
Key Features
Automatic Locking System (ALS) The internal locking mechanism secures your firearm in all directions without requiring straps, snaps, or additional manipulation. Once holstered, the weapon is locked. Deactivation is intuitive and thumb-operated, allowing a straightforward vertical draw when you need it.
Open-Top Design The open-top configuration provides unobstructed access while maintaining the security of the ALS retention system. This design philosophy prioritizes both speed and safety.
SureFire X300U Compatible The holster accommodates the SureFire X300U tactical light, a popular choice among serious shooters who prioritize target identification and situational awareness.
Ergonomic Carry The mid-ride belt loop positions the holster close to your body, reducing printing and improving concealment without sacrificing accessibility. This geometry works well for both duty and personal defense applications.
Practical Considerations
This holster is engineered for shooters who understand that modern defensive firearms often feature optics. The ALS system provides reliable retention suitable for active use, training, or duty carry.
