Safariland Solis ALS Holster: Security Meets Speed
The Solis represents a thoughtful marriage of two competing demands in holster design: retention and accessibility. Safariland has engineered this outside-the-waistband holster to deliver both without compromise.
Key Features
- Automatic Locking System (ALS): Your firearm locks automatically upon holstering, providing passive security without additional manipulation
- Open-Top Design: Allows fast, intuitive draws with a simple thumb-swipe release as you establish your shooting grip
- Red Dot Compatible: Works seamlessly with most compact red dot sight systems
- Light-Ready: Accommodates subcompact tactical lights
- Durable Construction: Built from SafariSeven, a weather- and temperature-resistant nylon blend that resists marking and wear
- Versatile Mounting: Includes both belt slide and paddle mount options for left-hand carry
Why This Matters
The Solis eliminates the false choice between security and speed. Whether you're training at the range or carrying for duty, you get a holster that keeps your Glock 17 secure during movement while remaining instantly accessible when you need it. The non-marking material protects your firearm's finish and your clothing.
This is serious gear for serious shooters.
