The Springfield Kuna represents a modern approach to the 9mm AR-pattern pistol platform. Built on proven roller-delayed blowback principles, this firearm delivers reliable performance in a compact, maneuverable package.
Design and Construction
The Kuna features a monolithic aluminum upper receiver with Type III hardcoat anodization paired with an injection-molded glass-filled polymer lower receiver. This combination provides durability while keeping overall weight manageable at just 5 pounds 5 ounces.
