The CMMG Dissent BR47 brings the economical 7.62x39mm cartridge into the modern sporting rifle era. This is a rifle built for shooters who want contemporary ergonomics without abandoning a time-tested round.
Barrel and Muzzle System
The 16.1" barrel is threaded 5/8x24" and comes fitted with CMMG's ZEROED muzzle brake, which effectively manages recoil impulse. The threaded design allows you to swap the brake for a suppressor or other muzzle device to suit your needs.
Controls and Ergonomics
This rifle features ambidextrous controls throughout:
- Reversible cross-bolt safety positions itself for either right or left-handed operation
- Non-reciprocating forward side charger keeps your face clear of ejecting cases
- AK-pattern magazine release works intuitively for shooters familiar with that platform
- Magpul SGA stock provides a comfortable, adjustable cheek rest and is compatible with most Remington 870 shotgun stocks if you want to experiment with alternatives
