The 16-inch heavy barrel features a 1:8 twist rate optimized for heavier projectiles, with a threaded muzzle (1/2 x 28) and included muzzle brake. The barrel is available in either 416 stainless steel or 4150 chromium-molybdenum with nitride finish for enhanced durability.
Construction and Materials
The upper and lower receivers are machined from 7075 aluminum billet stock, providing strength and precision. The 15.25-inch handguard is constructed from 6061 aluminum with full Picatinny rail coverage, allowing unlimited accessory mounting. M-LOK slots provide additional mounting options along the sides and bottom.
Ergonomics and Controls
A mil-spec polymer grip and trigger with a 5.5 to 6-pound pull weight provide familiar handling characteristics. The gas system uses a 0.750-inch gas block with carbine-length gas tube for reliable operation.
