The Vector VK-1: Modern Piston Engineering
The Vector VK-1 represents a thoughtful evolution in rifle design, combining the reliability of a short-stroke piston system with the ergonomic familiarity of the AR-15 platform.
Advanced Piston System
At the heart of the VK-1 lies a patented low-profile piston design engineered for efficiency and consistency. The system features:
- Optimized gas port sizing for reliable cycling across varying ammunition types
- Cup and spigot design that improves gas seal integrity and overall system efficiency
- Staged gas bleed system allowing the rifle to function reliably whether suppressed or unsuppressed
- Fully-supported one-piece op rod for enhanced durability and reduced wear
- Removable gas block matching standard AR-15 footprint and weight
Practical Design
The VK-1 delivers the advantages of piston operation—reduced heat, cleaner operation, and decreased bolt carrier group wear—without sacrificing the ergonomic controls and modularity shooters expect. Whether you're running factory ammunition through an unsuppressed rifle or shooting subsonic rounds through a suppressor, the staged gas system adapts to your needs.
What's Included
Your VK-1 arrives ready to shoot with two Magpul Gen 3 PMAGs, a rifle lock for safe storage, and a protective hard case for transport and safekeeping.
