Springfield 1911 Ronin AOS 9mm 4.25" Gear Pac

Springfield 1911 Ronin AOS 9mm Gear Pac

The Ronin AOS represents a thoughtful evolution of the classic 1911 platform, engineered for the contemporary shooter who values both tradition and modern capability.

Design & Construction

Springfield has crafted the Ronin around a forged aluminum alloy frame finished in satin aluminum Cerakote, keeping overall weight to a practical 31 ounces. This makes the pistol comfortable for extended carry without sacrificing the solid feel expected from a 1911. The forged carbon steel slide wears a traditional hot salt blued finish that develops character with use.

The 4.25-inch barrel is hammer-forged stainless steel with a fully supported ramp and match-grade tolerances. A traditional barrel bushing system ensures reliable operation and easy maintenance. The Commander-length recoil system manages 9mm energy effectively.

Optics-Ready Platform

The AOS (Accessory Optics System) slide is milled to accept interchangeable optic plates that accommodate popular red dot sights including RMR, Shield, Delta Point Pro, and Docter models. Each plate includes an integral rear sight, ensuring proper sight height and a natural sight picture whether using the optic or iron sights.

Sights & Controls

The pistol ships with a fiber optic front sight and black serrated rear sight for rapid target acquisition. Crossed Cannon wood laminate grips provide a classic appearance with positive control.
