Installation and Compatibility

This H3-weight system is a true drop-in replacement for AR-15 rifles with carbine-length buffer tubes. Installation requires no gunsmithing or special tools. The system comes pre-assembled with Red Loctite on the front metal stop and Blue Loctite on the bottom bumper. When reassembling, reapply Loctite to ensure long-term reliability. The SRS can be installed with or without a buffer retainer—the polymer bumper faces the rear of the firearm while the weighted mass with O-ring faces the bolt carrier.
