Savage 110 Trail Hunter Lite V2: Built for the Backcountry
The 110 Trail Hunter Lite V2 represents a thoughtful evolution in hunting rifle design. Savage Arms partnered with Hogue to create a rifle that performs reliably in demanding conditions while remaining practical for the hunter who covers serious ground.
Design and Construction
The barreled action features a Tungsten Cerakote ceramic coating—a hard, durable finish that seals the steel against the elements. This is not mere cosmetics; it is functional protection against rust and corrosion in wet, cold, or salt-laden environments.
The 20-inch barrel is button rifled and features a heavy sporter profile with straight fluting. The fluting reduces weight without sacrificing rigidity, and the threaded muzzle accommodates suppressors or muzzle devices. The receiver is drilled and tapped for optics mounting with two-piece Weaver-style bases included.
Stock and Ergonomics
The Hogue overmolded synthetic stock provides full-coverage rubber that delivers a secure grip in all conditions—wet, cold, or gloved hands. The stock is finished in black and includes two sling swivel studs for attachment of your preferred carry system.
