CZ's Pro Varmint delivers precision in a compact package. Heavy 16.5" threaded barrel, adjustable trigger, 60° bolt lift, and black laminate stock. Purpose-built for accuracy and suppressor-ready performance.
CZ has engineered the 457 Pro Varmint as a serious tool for shooters who demand accuracy without compromise. This rifle proves that effective varmint hunting and target shooting don't require a full-size platform.
The heart of this rifle is its cold hammer-forged, heavy 16.5" barrel threaded at 1/2x28 for suppressors and other muzzle devices. The shorter barrel length provides several advantages: it maintains velocity for the .22 LR cartridge while increasing overall rigidity, resulting in the kind of precision that makes every shot count.
CZ redesigned the action itself, shortening it by nearly an inch and adopting a slab-sided profile to reduce both weight and footprint. The 60-degree bolt rotation replaces the traditional 90-degree lift, allowing you to mount larger objective lenses with lower ring heights—a practical advantage for serious optics.
The fully adjustable trigger lets you dial in weight, creep, and over-travel to your preference. A two-position push-to-fire safety keeps the rifle secure and intuitive to operate.
The black painted laminate stock incorporates features typically found on much more expensive rifles. Two-piece interlocking bottom metal replaces stamped components, providing durability and a refined feel. Length of pull measures 13.75 inches, suitable for most shooters.
The 457 Pro Varmint is a rifle built for those who understand that precision is a discipline, not an accident.
