Athlon Midas HMR 2-12x42 30mm Riflescope

Athlon Midas HMR 2-12x42 Riflescope

The Midas HMR represents a thoughtful approach to variable magnification optics. This scope bridges the gap between close-range hunting and mid-distance precision shooting with its 2-12x magnification range.

Key Features

• Magnification Range: 2-12x magnification for versatility from brush to open country
• Objective Lens: 42mm objective provides excellent light gathering and field of view
• Tube Diameter: 30mm main tube for increased adjustment range and durability
• Reticle: APLR-H2 MOA reticle with MOA-based holdover points for accurate ranging
• Construction: Built on proven optical principles for reliable performance in the field

Performance Characteristics

The 2x minimum magnification excels in dense cover where quick target acquisition matters. At 12x, you gain the precision needed for longer-range work. The 30mm tube provides additional elevation and windage adjustment range—valuable when shooting from unconventional positions or at extended distances.

The APLR-H2 MOA reticle integrates holdover points calibrated in minutes of angle, allowing you to compensate for bullet drop without dialing your turrets. This design philosophy keeps your scope settings consistent while the reticle does the work.

Ideal Applications

This scope suits hunters working varied terrain, from timber to meadows. Sport shooters appreciate the magnification range for target work at multiple distances. The optical quality and reticle design make it equally at home on a hunting rifle or a precision shooting platform.
