Athlon Argos HMR 2-12x42 Riflescope

The Athlon Argos HMR represents a thoughtful balance between capability and value—a scope designed for the working rifleman who demands reliability without excess complexity.

Key Features

• Magnification Range: 2-12x variable power provides flexibility from close-range hunting to extended-distance shooting
• Objective Lens: 42mm front lens gathers sufficient light for dawn and dusk hunting conditions
• Reticle System: Advanced Reticle Mil-Dot configuration offers precise aiming points at various distances
• Construction: Durable tube design engineered for field use and typical hunting applications

Performance Characteristics

The 2-12x magnification range makes this scope equally at home in timber or open country. Low magnification settings provide a wide field of view for quick target acquisition, while the 12x setting delivers the clarity needed for precise shot placement at distance.

The 42mm objective lens strikes a practical balance—large enough to gather adequate light for early morning and late evening hunts, yet compact enough to maintain rifle balance and handling characteristics.

Practical Application

This is a scope for hunters and sport shooters who value straightforward functionality. It handles the majority of hunting scenarios without unnecessary complications, making it an excellent choice for both experienced riflemen and those new to optics.
