HS Strut Hammerin Crow Call

HS Strut Hammerin Crow Call

The Hammerin Crow Call is a purpose-built locator call that serves a critical function in turkey hunting: finding roosted birds at dawn. This straightforward tool produces authentic crow sounds that trigger gobbler responses, allowing hunters to pinpoint turkey locations before the day's hunting begins.

Key Features

• Adjustable reed design allows you to produce multiple tones and volumes
• Root beer-colored plastic construction provides durability and weather resistance
• Simple operation makes it accessible to both experienced hunters and newcomers
• Reliable locator function helps identify gobbler positions before the hunt

How It Works

Turkeys respond to crow calls because gobblers naturally react to the presence of crows—often competing for territory and attention. By producing convincing crow sounds, this call draws out gobbler responses that reveal their location and direction. The adjustable reed lets you fine-tune your calling to match natural crow vocalizations in your hunting area.

Best Use

This call is most effective during early morning hours when gobblers are still on the roost. Use it to locate birds before switching to turkey calls for the actual hunt. Its simplicity and effectiveness make it an essential addition to any turkey hunter's call collection.
