CZ 457 Lux .22 WMR Rimfire Rifle
The CZ 457 Lux represents thoughtful rifle design for the discerning marksman. This European-styled rimfire combines elegant proportions with genuine utility—a rifle that performs as well as it looks.
Design and Handling
The stock is fashioned from Turkish walnut with a pronounced hogback profile, cheekpiece, and comb that naturally align your eye with the integrated iron sights. The action itself has been refined: the engineers shortened it by nearly an inch and slab-sided the receiver to reduce both footprint and weight without sacrificing strength or function.
Precision Features
Sighting and Optics:
- Crisp, adjustable iron sights integrated into the receiver
- 11mm dovetail for mounting modern optics
- Sight picture optimized for both iron and glass
Trigger and Safety:
- Fully adjustable trigger mechanism for precise let-off
- Two-position push-to-fire safety mounted on the receiver
- Intuitive controls for safe, confident operation
Barrel and Accuracy:
- Cold hammer-forged barrel, 24.8 inches
- .22 WMR chambering for extended range and power over standard .22 Long Rifle
- Blued finish for classic appearance and corrosion resistance
Versatility
One of the 457's greatest strengths is its quick-change barrel capability. Add a second barrel set in a different caliber—such as .22 Long Rifle—and you've transformed your rifle without purchasing an entirely new firearm. One 5-round detachable magazine is included.
