Burris Veracity 2.5-12x42 SFP Riflescope

Burris Veracity 2.5-12x42 SFP Riflescope

The Burris Veracity represents a thoughtful balance between optical performance and practical utility. This second focal plane (SFP) design provides the magnification range serious hunters and shooters demand without unnecessary complexity.

Key Features

• 2.5-12x magnification — Covers the range from close-quarters hunting to extended-range target work
• 42mm objective lens — Gathers sufficient light for low-light conditions while maintaining a manageable profile
• Second focal plane reticle — The 3-plex reticle pattern remains consistent in appearance across all magnification settings, familiar to traditional shooters
• Proven Burris optics — Built on decades of reliability in the field

Design Philosophy

This scope eschews unnecessary features in favor of straightforward, dependable performance. The 3-plex reticle—three heavy posts tapering to fine crosshairs—has proven itself across generations of hunters and marksmen. It works equally well on varmints at 100 yards or game at 300.

The second focal plane design means your reticle subtensions remain accurate only at the scope's maximum magnification, a traditional approach that simplifies the optical path and reduces cost without sacrificing field performance.

Practical Application

Whether mounted on a centerfire rifle for hunting season or a rimfire for target practice, the Veracity delivers the optical clarity and magnification flexibility that working shooters appreciate. It is a scope built to be used, not merely admired.
