CMMG Bravo .22 LR AR Conversion Kit

Transform Your AR Rifle into a .22 LR Trainer

The CMMG Bravo conversion kit is an elegant solution for shooters who want to extend their AR rifle's versatility without purchasing an entirely new firearm. This drop-in conversion allows you to swap out your bolt carrier group and shoot economical .22 LR ammunition through your existing AR platform rifle.

What You Get

• Drop-in conversion kit compatible with standard AR rifles chambered in 5.56 NATO/.223 Remington
• 10-round magazine included
• Simple installation—no gunsmithing required

Performance Considerations

For optimal reliability and function:

• Hammer type matters: Use a round-style hammer. Notched hammers can cause feeding and function issues with this conversion.
• Ammunition selection: 36-grain plated nose bullets have proven most reliable. Standard .22 LR ammunition works, but lighter projectiles may not cycle the action consistently.

Why Choose This Conversion?

Practice with .22 LR offers significant advantages: dramatically reduced recoil, minimal noise compared to centerfire rounds, and ammunition costs a fraction of what you'd spend on 5.56 NATO. It's an excellent way to maintain shooting skills and introduce new shooters to your AR platform without the expense and intensity of centerfire training.

Simply remove your standard bolt carrier group, install the CMMG Bravo kit, and you're ready to shoot.
