Savage SPR Impulse KLYM: Purpose-Built Precision

The Savage SPR Impulse KLYM represents a convergence of modern materials and time-tested rifle design. This is a rifle for the shooter who understands that precision demands both engineering excellence and uncompromising component selection.

Barrel and Action

The heart of this rifle is a PROOF Research carbon fiber-wrapped stainless steel barrel, cut rifled for consistency and accuracy. At 22 inches with a 1-in-10 twist, it's threaded 5/8x24 and wears an Omniport muzzle brake as standard. The Savage Impulse action is a modern bolt design that respects the fundamentals while incorporating contemporary refinements.

Stock and Ergonomics

The custom carbon fiber stock from FBT Fine Ballistic Tools features an additive-manufactured center section—a thoughtful blend of traditional and modern manufacturing. The result is a lightweight, rigid platform with genuine utility:

• One-button adjustable comb for proper sight picture
• Ambidextrous removable bolt handle with carbon fiber knob (5/16x24 threaded)
• Two sling studs with Magnaswitch system for versatile carry options
• 13.75-inch length of pull suitable for most shooters

Trigger and Controls

The 1.5–4 pound user-adjustable AccuTrigger is Savage's proven solution for clean, predictable breaks. A two-position tang safety provides straightforward operation.

Receiver and Mounting

The aluminum receiver features an integral one-piece 20 MOA rail, eliminating the need for separate mounting hardware and ensuring rock-solid scope attachment. Cerakote finish on the Blackout receiver provides durable corrosion resistance.
