SOG SlimJim 3.18" Assisted Folding Knife

The Minimalist's Assisted Knife

SOG's SlimJim represents a philosophy of purposeful simplicity. This isn't a knife trying to do everything—it's a knife designed to do one thing exceptionally well: be there when you need it, without fanfare or unnecessary bulk.

Design and Construction

Constructed from a single piece of steel, the SlimJim lives up to its name as one of the slimmest assisted-opening knives available. Every feature serves a function:

• 3.18" clip point blade in AUS-8 steel—a proven, easy-to-sharpen edge steel
• 0.08" blade thickness for a balance of strength and cutting efficiency
• 420 stainless steel handle with bead-blasted finish for secure grip and corrosion resistance
• Tactile bumps and cutouts that aid in control and manipulation
• Low-carry reversible pocket clip for discreet, ambidextrous carry

Assisted Opening Technology

SOG's Assisted Technology (S.A.T.) is one of the most reliable in the industry. Start the blade opening and S.A.T. completes the action decisively. The patent-pending safety mechanism serves dual purposes: it retains the blade securely in the handle and acts as a double lock when the blade is open.
