The Kenai Chest Holster: Purpose-Built for the Outdoorsman
The Kenai Chest Holster represents a thoughtful approach to carrying a firearm during outdoor pursuits. Whether you're hiking remote terrain, hunting game, or fishing backcountry waters, this holster keeps your Springfield XDM accessible and secure.
Design and Construction
Gunfighters Inc engineered the Kenai with a hybrid approach:
- Kydex shell provides excellent retention and weatherproofing
- Nylon harness offers comfort and adjustability for extended wear
- Lightweight construction minimizes fatigue during all-day outdoor activities
- Gray Kydex with coyote brown harness color scheme blends naturally in most environments
Why a Chest Holster?
Chest carry offers distinct advantages for outdoor enthusiasts. The holster positions your firearm high and centered on your body, keeping it accessible whether you're standing, sitting, or moving through brush. The harness distributes weight evenly across your shoulders and chest, reducing strain compared to traditional belt carry during extended outdoor excursions.
Versatility
While optimized for the Springfield XDM platform, the Kenai's design philosophy accommodates both modern polymer-framed pistols and classic big-bore revolvers, making it a flexible choice for various shooting disciplines and outdoor scenarios.
