The straight spear-point blade is sharpened on a single side and crafted from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel. Kershaw's BlackWash coating gives the blade a non-reflective, already-broken-in appearance while protecting the steel and effectively hiding use scratches—a practical touch for a working knife.

Handle and Grip

The handle features glass-filled nylon scales with heavy arrow-pattern texturing that enhances grip security in various conditions. A stout steel liner with matching BlackWash finish provides structural integrity and houses a robust liner lock that securely holds the blade open during use.
