Wheeler Cerama-Coat Firearm Finish

Cerama-Coat is a purpose-built ceramic finish engineered specifically for firearms and metal components. Unlike conventional spray paints, this specialized coating uses ultra-fine ceramic molecules that chemically crosslink and bond directly to your gun's base material, creating a finish that's genuinely harder and more durable than what you'll find in most gun shops.

How It Works

The ceramic formulation requires a simple heating process after application—typically just running your firearm in normal use or applying gentle heat to around 200°F. This heat activates the crosslinking process, hardening the finish into an exceptionally tough protective layer.

Compatibility and Application

Works on:

• Ferrous metals (steel)
• Alloys
• Stainless steel
• Synthetic materials (that can tolerate 200°F heat)

Can be applied over:
