Design and Construction

Handle and Materials

• Injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) scales reduce overall weight by nine percent
• Radiused handle shape provides comfort and control during extended use
• Pebbled texture on scales enhances grip security
• Nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners deliver outstanding structural strength

Blade and Edge Options

• Full-flat-ground CTS BD1N stainless steel blade
• 3.58" drop point design balances cutting performance with control
• Available in plain edge for general-purpose cutting
• Satin finish resists corrosion and reduces glare

Locking Mechanism and Carry

The Compression Lock mechanism is one of Spyderco's most reliable designs, providing secure blade retention without requiring two hands to disengage. The four-position pocket clip allows you to carry the knife tip-up or tip-down on either side of your body, adapting to your preferred carry method and clothing style.
