Hornady Superformance 6mm Rem 95gr SST
Hornady's Superformance 6mm Rem ammunition delivers 3235 fps muzzle velocity with 95-grain Super Shock Tip bullets. Engineered for 100-200 fps velocity gains without increased recoil, it offers flatter trajectories and reliable medium-game performance.
Hornady Superformance 6mm Rem 95gr SST
Hornady's Superformance line represents a significant advancement in rifle ammunition technology. This 6mm Rem loading pairs a 95-grain Super Shock Tip bullet with highly efficient propellants to deliver exceptional velocity and energy without the penalty of increased recoil.
Performance Characteristics
Velocity and Energy
- Muzzle velocity: 3235 fps
- Muzzle energy: 2207 ft-lbs
- Trajectory: -1.5" at standard test distance
The Superformance propellant system accelerates bullets longer in the barrel, generating up to 200 fps velocity increases over conventional ammunition while maintaining safe pressure levels. This means flatter trajectories, reduced wind drift, and improved accuracy without the shooter experiencing additional felt recoil.
Bullet Design
The 95-grain Super Shock Tip bullet combines:
- Aerodynamic profile for reduced wind drift
- Reliable expansion for consistent terminal performance
- Deep penetration characteristics for medium game
Reliability and Safety
- Safe for all firearm types: semi-automatic, lever-action, and pump-action rifles
- Consistent performance across a broad temperature range
- Proudly manufactured in the USA
- Packaged: 20 rounds per box, 10 boxes per case
Whether you're pursuing medium game or refining your long-range accuracy, Hornady Superformance ammunition delivers the velocity, energy, and consistency serious shooters demand.
