WoodHaven Wasp Nest Turkey Call 3-Pack
The Wasp Nest 3-Pack represents a thoughtful approach to turkey calling, offering three distinct diaphragm calls that address the full range of vocalizations a turkey hunter needs in the field.
What's Included
This collection features three handcrafted calls:
- Wasp — Your foundational call for versatile turkey sounds
- Red Wasp — Engineered for cutting and raspy yelping
- Black Wasp — Designed for early morning throaty nasal tones
Design and Construction
Each call is hand-stretched using different thicknesses of latex and prophylactic material. This variation in materials is the key to producing three distinctly different turkey sounds from a single call design. The v-cut configuration enhances cutting ability and provides the raspy edge that separates effective calls from mediocre ones.
Performance Characteristics
These calls excel at:
- Cutting and aggressive yelping — Essential for getting a gobbler's attention
- Raspy, realistic tones — The hallmark of experienced callers
- Early morning nasal sounds — Perfect for those critical first-light encounters
Why Three Calls?
Turkey calling is not one-size-fits-all. Different situations demand different sounds. Having three calls with varying tonal qualities allows you to match the mood of the birds you're hunting and adapt to changing conditions throughout the season.
These are serious tools for serious turkey hunters.
