XS Sight Systems R3D Night Sights
The R3D represents a thoughtful evolution in combat sighting systems. These night sights employ a traditional 3-dot tritium configuration—a proven design that has served shooters well for decades.
Key Features
- Tritium-powered illumination: Three tritium lamps provide reliable low-light visibility without batteries or charging
- Ember Glow Technology: The front sight dot absorbs ambient light and glows independently, remaining visible in daylight and darkness
- Blacked-out rear sight: High-contrast design keeps your focus on the front sight for faster target acquisition
- Green front dot option: Easier on the eyes for many shooters compared to traditional orange
- Steel construction: Durable blued finish resists corrosion
Performance
The R3D delivers what matters most: speed and accuracy across lighting conditions. The front sight glows brighter than the rear at all times, maintaining proper sight picture whether you're shooting in bright sunlight or near-total darkness. The notch-and-post design is intuitive for both experienced shooters and those new to iron sights.
