• AMO Specification: Measured to industry standard; actual string length is approximately 4 inches shorter than listed AMO length

What to Expect

This is a straightforward, no-frills bow string designed for traditional recurve bows. Dacron strings are forgiving and maintain their properties well, making them an excellent choice for both established archers and those new to traditional archery. The monofilament serving protects the string where it matters most—at the point of arrow contact.

Important Note

Remember that AMO measurements are longer than the actual string length. A 54-inch AMO string will measure approximately 50 inches when installed on your bow.
