Ballistic Advantage 5.56 Hanson 16" Barrel with Low-Profile Gas Block

Ballistic Advantage Performance Series Hanson Barrel

This 5.56 NATO barrel represents a thoughtful balance between performance and practicality. At 16 inches, it delivers the velocity needed for effective rifle performance while maintaining a package suitable for modern tactical and sporting applications.

Construction and Finish

Materials and Durability

• Machined from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel
• QPQ corrosion-resistant finish for extended service life
• Nickel Boron coated extended M4 feed ramp extension for reliable feeding

The Hanson Profile Advantage

Ballistic Advantage's proprietary Hanson profile represents a refined approach to barrel design. The .625" gas block journal diameter creates a lighter, more manageable profile compared to heavier contours, without sacrificing rigidity where it matters most.

Key Specifications

• 1:7" twist rate for stable performance across a wide range of ammunition weights
• Mid-length gas system for balanced recoil impulse and reliability
• 1/2x28 thread pitch for standard muzzle device compatibility
• Fits standard AR15 platforms

Ready to Install

Each barrel arrives with a pinned, low-profile gas block already installed—eliminating a critical assembly step and ensuring proper alignment. This is genuine value: you're getting a complete, tested system rather than components requiring careful assembly.

Important Note: Hanson barrels are optimized for direct impingement systems and are not designed to function with aftermarket piston conversion kits.

This is a no-nonsense barrel built for shooters who understand that reliability and accuracy begin with quality components.
