Avian-X LCD 1/2 Strut Jake Turkey Decoy

The Intruder That Provokes Action

The Avian-X LCD Half-Strut Jake tells the story of a young gobbler living dangerously outside the pecking order. His sub-dominant head position and relaxed feather posture show fearless pursuit of dominance—a challenge that wild gobblers simply cannot ignore. This is the decoy that makes dominant birds want to teach a swift lesson.

Why This Decoy Works

Wild turkeys are intensely territorial and hierarchical. A young Jake in a sub-dominant posture represents a direct threat to established dominance. Rather than fleeing, mature gobblers are drawn to confront and establish their authority. This makes the LCD Half-Strut Jake especially effective during early season when turkeys are actively working through the pecking order.

The Setup
