Iver Johnson Rifled Mobile Choke Tube
This extended rifled choke tube represents a straightforward solution for shooters who demand accuracy with slugs from their 12-gauge shotguns.
Key Features
- Rifled Design: The rifled interior imparts spin to slugs, improving accuracy and consistency downrange
- Extended Length: Provides additional contact surface for enhanced slug stabilization
- Mobile Choke Compatible: Fits standard Mobile Choke systems found on many Iver Johnson and compatible shotguns
- 12-Gauge: Designed specifically for 12-gauge shotgun barrels
Purpose and Application
Rifled choke tubes serve a specific purpose: they transform a smoothbore shotgun barrel into a more accurate slug-shooting platform. The rifling engages the slug's surface, creating gyroscopic stabilization similar to a rifle. This results in tighter shot groups and more predictable performance at distance.
Whether you're hunting deer, engaging in slug competitions, or simply want improved accuracy with your shotgun, this choke tube offers a practical upgrade to your existing Mobile Choke system.
Installation
Simply unscrew your existing choke tube and install this rifled tube in its place. Ensure it's seated properly before firing.
