Design Philosophy
The Gunner profile strikes a practical balance between weight and rigidity. It's neither featherweight nor unnecessarily heavy—a sensible middle ground for working rifles. The 1:5 twist rate is optimized specifically for .338 ARC ammunition, ensuring stable flight and consistent accuracy across the cartridge's performance envelope.
Why This Matters
The .338 ARC is a modern intermediate cartridge designed for AR-15 platforms. Faxon's barrel engineering ensures you get the velocity and accuracy this cartridge was designed to deliver. The 9-inch length makes this barrel suitable for compact builds without sacrificing ballistic performance.
Quality You Can Depend On
Faxon barrels are manufactured to exacting standards. This is a component built to last, shoot straight, and handle the demands of serious shooters.
