Why This Barrel Matters

The 6mm ARC was engineered to maximize velocity and ballistic coefficient in short-barreled rifles without sacrificing reliability. Faxon's match-grade manufacturing ensures consistent accuracy from shot to shot.

5R Rifling Advantage: The five-groove design reduces bullet deformation compared to traditional rifling, improving accuracy and extending barrel life. The rounded lands are gentler on bullets while maintaining superior velocity retention.

Gunner Profile Balance: This contour strikes the practical balance between a heavy match barrel and a lightweight pencil profile. You get the thermal stability needed for consistent accuracy without excessive weight penalty.

1:7.5 Twist Rate: Optimized for modern 6mm ARC ammunition, this twist rate stabilizes the full range of projectiles available for this cartridge, from lighter varmint rounds to heavier match-grade loads.

Applications

Ideal for precision rifle competition, tactical training, and hunters who value accuracy in a compact package. The 12.5" length makes this barrel suitable for both rifle and pistol-configured AR15 builds.

Quality You Can Count On

Faxon barrels are manufactured to exacting standards and stress-relieved for dimensional stability. Each barrel is a precision instrument designed to perform consistently in the field or on the range.
