Athlon Talos 3-12x40 Mil-Dot Rifle Scope

The Athlon Talos 3-12x40 is a versatile variable-power rifle scope designed for hunters and shooters who demand optical clarity and reliable performance across a range of shooting distances.

Optical Performance

Magnification and Clarity

• 3-12x magnification range provides flexibility from close-range hunting to extended-distance target work
• 40mm objective lens gathers abundant light for bright, detailed images in various lighting conditions
• Wide-band fully multicoated optics minimize light loss and reduce glare
• Exit pupil ranges from 13.6mm at 3x to 3.4mm at 12x, accommodating different shooting positions
• Eye relief of 3.82-3.35 inches allows comfortable shooting with most rifle configurations

Reticle and Adjustment

Mil-Dot Reticle System

• Mil-dot reticle enables precise distance estimation and holdover calculations
• Reticle subtension validity at 10x magnification
• 0.1 MIL click adjustments for precise windage and elevation corrections
• 20 MIL total adjustment range in both elevation and windage—sufficient for most hunting and target applications
• Capped turrets protect adjustment mechanisms from accidental movement

Construction and Features

Durability and Reliability

• Aircraft-grade aluminum tube construction provides exceptional strength and corrosion resistance
• 1-inch tube diameter (25.4mm) is the standard for most modern rifle mounts
• Nitrogen purging prevents internal fogging in temperature extremes
• Side-focus parallax adjustment (10 yards to infinity) ensures sharp images at all distances
• Matte finish reduces glint and reflection

Specifications

• Length: 12 inches
• Weight: 16.2 ounces
• Field of view: 34.1 feet at 100 yards (3x) to 8.9 feet (12x)

The Talos 3-12x40 delivers the optical quality and mechanical reliability serious shooters expect, whether hunting game or engaging targets at distance.
