Lighting Performance

Equipped with C4 LED technology, the Strion DS HL delivers exceptional brightness across multiple modes:

High Mode: 700 lumens with 12,000 candela and a 219-meter beam distance; runs 1.25 hours
Medium Mode: 300 lumens with 5,000 candela and a 141-meter beam distance; runs 3.25 hours
Low Mode: 40 lumens with 800 candela and a 57-meter beam distance; runs 20 hours
Strobe Mode: Disorienting or signaling capability; runs 2.5 hours

Dual Switch Technology

The Strion DS HL features independent push-button tail switch and head-mounted switch operation, giving you maximum control and flexibility. The TEN-TAP programmable switch allows you to select from three different operating programs: high/medium/low with strobe (factory default), high only, or high/medium/low without strobe.

Build Quality and Durability

Constructed from 6000 series anodized machined aircraft aluminum with a Borofloat high-temperature glass lens, this light is engineered to withstand demanding conditions. The anti-roll head prevents the light from rolling away when set down. IPX4 water resistance and 2-meter impact resistance testing ensure reliable performance in the field.

Power and Convenience

The rechargeable lithium-ion battery charges fully in just 3 hours and maintains performance through up to 1,000 recharge cycles. The included clamp-style charger holder features a digital control circuit that prevents overcharging and includes an LED charge status indicator. The optional PiggyBack charger allows you to charge a spare battery simultaneously, keeping you operational without downtime.
