Lyman E-ZEE Pilot Case Trimmer for .45 Long Colt
The Lyman E-ZEE Pilot represents a practical solution for the handloader who demands precision without complexity. This trimmer addresses a fundamental requirement of quality ammunition: uniformly trimmed cases.
Key Features
- Dual-Mode Operation: Trim cases by hand for small batches or attach the included power adapter for efficient processing of larger quantities
- Precision Trim-to-Length Pilot: Ensures cases are cut to exact specifications for consistent performance
- Complete System: Includes case locking device, cutter head, and both hand and power-trimming adapters
- Caliber-Specific: Designed specifically for .45 Long Colt ammunition
Why Case Trimming Matters
Case length directly affects powder capacity and bullet seating. Inconsistent case lengths lead to velocity variation and reduced accuracy. The E-ZEE Pilot eliminates this variable, allowing you to produce ammunition with the uniformity that serious shooting demands.
Practical Design
The included power adapter transforms the trimmer from a hand tool to a production tool, making it suitable for both the occasional reloader and those processing ammunition in volume. The case locking device ensures safety and consistency throughout the trimming process.
This is essential equipment for anyone committed to producing reliable, accurate .45 Long Colt ammunition.
