Lightfield 12GA 2.75" X-Range Rubber Slug
Lightfield X-Range 12-gauge slugs deliver 650 FPS muzzle velocity with extended-range performance. Rubber projectiles deposit superior kinetic energy at distance. Five rounds per box.
Lightfield X-Range Extended-Distance Shotgun Slugs
The Lightfield X-Range represents a thoughtful approach to extended-range shotgun hunting. These 12-gauge, 2.75-inch slugs are engineered to deliver kinetic energy at distances where conventional shotgun loads begin to lose effectiveness.
Key Specifications
- Caliber: 12 Gauge
- Length: 2.75 inches
- Muzzle Velocity: 650 feet per second
- Projectile Type: Rubber slug
- Packaging: 5 rounds per box; 10 boxes per case
Performance and Application
These slugs are purpose-built for shooters seeking extended range capability. The rubber projectile design contributes to the load's distinctive ballistic characteristics, allowing energy retention beyond typical shotgun distances.
Critical Usage Notes
Barrel Requirement: X-Range slugs must be used only in rifle-barreled shotguns with Cylinder or Improved Cylinder chokes. Do not use in standard smooth-bore barrels or with tighter choke constrictions. Improper barrel selection can result in dangerous pressure conditions or poor accuracy.
These loads represent a specialized tool for the discerning shotgunner who understands the demands of extended-range work.
