Primos Hook Hunter Turkey Call with Spike Cut

Primos Hook Hunter Turkey Call

The Hook Hunter represents a refined approach to diaphragm calling. This call employs two latex reeds configured with a spike cut, a design choice that fundamentally alters how the call responds to air pressure and tongue positioning.

Key Features

• Two latex reeds with spike cut configuration
• Universal design suitable for various calling techniques
• Unique pitch production for realistic turkey vocalizations
• Diaphragm format for hands-free operation

Performance Characteristics

The spike cut reeds generate yelps and calls that stand apart from conventional diaphragm designs. This distinction matters in the field—turkeys respond to variation and authenticity. The call's design allows hunters to produce a range of vocalizations, from soft feeding calls to aggressive yelps, depending on air pressure and tongue control.

Diaphragm calls demand practice and technique, but they reward the dedicated hunter with the ability to keep both hands free for gun handling. The Hook Hunter's configuration makes it accessible to both experienced callers and those new to diaphragm calling.

Practical Application

This call works effectively in various hunting scenarios and pairs well with other calling methods as part of a comprehensive turkey hunting strategy.
