ProMag AK-223 65-Round Drum Magazine
Overview
The ProMag AK-223 drum magazine offers shooters an extended-capacity feeding solution for AK-pattern rifles chambered in 5.56 NATO. With a 65-round capacity, this magazine is designed for range sessions, competition shooting, or tactical training where frequent reloads can slow your pace.
Key Features
- High Capacity: 65-round drum design maximizes shooting time between magazine changes
- Durable Construction: Reinforced polymer body withstands the demands of regular use
- Reliable Feeding: Engineered for consistent, dependable ammunition feeding
- AK-Pattern Compatible: Fits standard AK-223 platforms chambered in 5.56 NATO
- Practical Design: Balanced weight distribution for manageable handling
Performance Characteristics
Drum magazines offer distinct advantages for high-volume shooting. The circular design distributes rounds efficiently, and the 65-round capacity significantly extends your firing sequence. This makes the ProMag AK-223 an excellent choice for range work, training drills, or competitive shooting events where magazine capacity matters.
Practical Considerations
Drum magazines are heavier than standard box magazines when fully loaded, which some shooters prefer for stability. The larger profile requires practice to manage smoothly during tactical transitions. For dedicated range time or training, however, the extended capacity and reduced reload frequency make this magazine a valuable addition to your ammunition storage system.
