Retay USA Ace Extra 28-Gauge Shotgun

Retay USA Ace Extra 28-Gauge Shotgun

The Retay USA Ace Extra represents a thoughtful approach to shotgun design—a 28-gauge that respects both tradition and modern shooting demands.

Key Features

• Gauge & Chamber: 28-gauge with 3-inch chamber for versatile load selection
• Barrel Length: 28 inches for balanced handling and sight picture
• Finish: Mossy Oak Legacy camouflage pattern for field concealment
• Design Philosophy: Built for shooters who value reduced recoil without sacrificing effectiveness

Why the 28-Gauge?

The 28-gauge occupies a unique position in shotgun shooting. It delivers sufficient shot charge for upland game while generating minimal recoil—a significant advantage during extended hunting days. The Ace Extra's 3-inch chamber provides flexibility; you can load standard 2.75-inch shells for lighter shooting or step up to 3-inch loads when conditions demand it.

Practical Considerations

This shotgun suits hunters pursuing quail, woodcock, and other upland species. The 28-inch barrel strikes a balance between swing speed and sight radius. The Mossy Oak Legacy finish provides effective concealment across varied terrain without the visual harshness of darker patterns.

The Retay USA Ace Extra appeals to experienced shooters seeking a refined, efficient shotgun and newcomers wanting to develop proper technique without fighting excessive recoil.
