GForce Arms Refuge 12-Gauge Shotgun
The Refuge represents a straightforward approach to semi-automatic shotgun design. Built around proven operating principles, this 12-gauge delivers dependable performance for hunting, sport shooting, and general use.
Key Features
- Gauge & Capacity: 12-gauge with 5-round magazine capacity
- Barrel: 28-inch barrel for balanced handling and sight radius
- Receiver: Bronze-finished aluminum for corrosion resistance and classic appearance
- Stock & Furniture: Walnut furniture provides traditional aesthetics and comfortable handling
- Operation: Semi-automatic action for follow-up shots and reduced recoil impulse
Design & Functionality
The 28-inch barrel strikes an effective balance between velocity and maneuverability, making it suitable for upland game, waterfowl, and clay target shooting. The semi-automatic action cycles reliably across a range of ammunition loads, reducing shooter fatigue during extended sessions.
The walnut furniture and bronze receiver combination creates a shotgun that looks as good as it performs. This is a tool built for serious use, not flash.
Practical Considerations
The 5-round capacity provides adequate ammunition for most hunting and sport shooting applications. The semi-automatic operation means less manual manipulation between shots, allowing you to focus on target acquisition and follow-up accuracy.
