The LWRC IC-A5 represents a thoughtful approach to modern rifle design, built around the principle that a fighting rifle should work equally well for left and right-handed shooters.

Upper Receiver & Rail System

The Monoforge upper receiver integrates a full-length Picatinny rail across the top, providing a stable platform for both day and night optics. The 12" user-configurable rail system offers flexibility for mounting lights, lasers, and other accessories exactly where you need them. The scalloped-cut design provides quick access to the 2-position adjustable gas block, allowing you to fine-tune performance for different ammunition types or suppressor use.

Barrel & Accuracy

A 14.7" cold hammer-forged barrel with NiCorr treatment and spiral fluting balances velocity with maneuverability. The 1:7" twist rate stabilizes a wide range of 5.56 NATO projectiles, from lighter varmint rounds to heavier tactical loads. Standard 1/2 x 28 muzzle threads accept suppressors and other devices.

Controls & Ergonomics

True ambidextrous design sets this rifle apart. The dual-control lower receiver features bolt catch and release, magazine release, and fire control accessible from both sides. An ambidextrous charging handle and sling mount with integrated quick-detach points ensure smooth operation regardless of your shooting hand. The adjustable compact stock includes its own quick-detach point for sling attachment.

Reliability

The LWRCI enhanced fire control group is Nickel-Boron coated for smooth, reliable operation. LWRCI Skirmish sights provide backup aiming capability. A 30-round magazine ships with the rifle.
