Mossberg 500 Turkey 20-Gauge Shotgun
The Mossberg 500 Turkey represents a refined approach to spring turkey hunting. This 20-gauge shotgun delivers the power needed for clean kills while remaining lighter and easier to carry through rough terrain than its 12-gauge counterparts.
Key Features
- Gauge & Chamber: 20-gauge with 3" chamber for modern turkey loads
- Barrel: 22" cylinder bore barrel optimized for turkey patterns
- Stock & Finish: Mossy Oak Obsession synthetic furniture resists moisture and blends naturally into spring woods
- Action: Proven Mossberg 500 pump-action mechanism—reliable and field-proven
- Ergonomics: Lightweight design reduces fatigue during long hunting days
Why This Gun Works
The 20-gauge delivers sufficient pellet energy for ethical turkey hunting while generating less recoil than 12-gauge loads. The shorter 22" barrel improves maneuverability in thick cover, and the synthetic stock handles wet spring conditions without warping or swelling.
The Mossy Oak Obsession camouflage pattern breaks up the gun's outline in early-season foliage when turkeys have keen eyesight. This is a straightforward, no-nonsense turkey gun built on the legendary Mossberg 500 platform.
